Two Day Workshop:
Saturday, 10/10 + Saturday, 10/17
Saturday, September 10, 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Saturday, September 17, Coldworking by Appointment, between 10am - 5pm
This once modest and ancient technique is making a luxurious come back in a big way. Our glass interpretation of Terrazzo is so sleek, sophisticated and modern you'll want to make everything Terrazzo! In this two day workshop, students will create a cast pattern sheet to be cut into an 8"x12" oval cheese board. Students will curate a color palette of accessory glasses including confetti, frit and gold foil backed by white sheet glass. After firing, the pattern sheets will be delicately cut on our waterjet leaving a smooth finish. Students will make an appointment for day two to pick up their pieces and cold work on the belt sander for a polished finish.
