Create absolutely incredible patterns and flow in this dynamic 4-day comprehensive two-in-one glass fusing workshop!
Students will learn the pattern bar process and the drop-out method from start to finish. Experiment with a "flow" pattern bar technique in this class, to create swirling patterns with movement and dimension. We are obsessed with these results! On day 1, students will cut, design, and assemble their pattern bar parts. Day 2, students will learn coldworking skills to cut and set-up the form for their drop-out and learn proper assembly for kiln firing. Day 3 students will watch their vessels form while monitoring the kilns during the drop-out process. Day 4 students will be back in the cold-shop to delicately cut and polish their finished 6.5" diameter bowls. Learn to create PATTERN and FLOW in this exciting comprehensive workshop!
